This is the time of year here in Oz that we start enjoying and lighting our bon fires in our back yard! So I thought I'd try to capture some of the heat. I never need an excuse to get my camera out for a little play! :)
Some of the embers dancing in the night sky as the guys put more wood on the fire.
Doesn't this look like Old Faithful except with flames? I think so and I think it's kind of cool!
I have always been a bit fascinated by fire. I especially love camp fires, the smell, being outdoors in the chilly weather, but yet being near enough to the fire for warmth. All we were missing this night was marshmallows to roast!
